Remembering to be grateful

Today is a busy day for me, so this will be short. With November the month we in the US celebrate Thanksgiving I think it’s fitting to remind myself all month of those things I have to be grateful for. In that spirit, I am posting a gratitude quote each day this month.

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them.  ~~  John F. Kennedy

        1. We can. The best story I have about this involved my youngest son. When he was little (and I mean as soon as he could talk) he would stop and put his hand on a person’s arm or shoulder and address them by name. Even his childhood friends. When he was two and a half years old, my neighbor laughed seeing him do this yet another time, she remarked he would be a great used car salesman. Well, he’s not selling used cars, but he is in sales both retail and in real estate and doing wonderfully. 🙂

      1. Oh good–thanks for telling me Lois! I’ve been going a little “postal” 🙂 leaving messages everywhere about the challenge and can’t remember who and where I’ve been…at least it’s all good right? This challenge is doing everything I hoped it would do (at least for me) so far–by reminding me each and every day how wonderful life is AND how many great and wonderful people are in the world. I love the messages you share and look forward to every single one of them. –Kathy

  2. Such a wonderful quote by a fabulous man, with a beautiful baby to help it shine. I just replied to your lovely comment on my blog, but want to say again – thank you.
